CANCELLED- Illinois Valley Hunting & Fishing Collectibles Show Sept. 20, 2020.

Illinois Valley Hunting & Fishing Collectible Show scheduled for September 20, 2020 in Utica Illinois has been cancelled.  It’s been a difficult decision, and we’ve gone back and forth, hoping things would start looking up.  Sadly, as much as we want to proceed with the show, we feel it’s best to lean on the safe side and will not be having the show this year.  Next year’s show is tentatively set for September 19, 2021.  Meanwhile, we hope this finds everybody healthy and safe, and hope to see you at an event, decoy show, or just to stop by and chat long before next year’s show.

Sept 10, 2017- 9th Annual Ill. Valley Hunting & Fishing Collectibles Show

Mark your calendars for the 2017 Decoy (Hunting & Fishing Collectibles) Show in Utica, Illinois.  Sunday September 10th from 8am-1pm in Utica, there will be a wide variety of  vintage collectibles as well as other items.  Bring the family and make it a day after you visit the show you can see Starved Rock State Park, as well as downtown Utica.  Easy to get to from Interstate 80, Exit #81 South, just after you pass the Illinois River.

Show review - 2015

We'd like to thank all the vendors, and especially everybody that took the time to come out to the show in Utica this year.  It was good to see everybody, and nice to see several new vendors this year to join in the fun.  We're already starting to make plans for next years event, more and likely going to be the same place and same time of year since it worked out well this year.  In closing, just want to share a story that we will both remember for quite some time.  A young man came in to the show with his father this year and walked around looking at all the decoys for quite some time.  After the 2nd or 3rd visit to our table, and after continually looking at the Illinois River Style decoys, he came back to our table.  Dad looked at him and said, "you keep coming back to this table, well-- what are you going to do?".  We asked him if he had any decoys, and he said yes, he has 16 decoys in his own collection.  Dad told us he's been saving up for the show and was looking for a special decoy he wanted to add to his collection.  When it was all said and done, this nice young man walked out of the show with his first Perdew.  Thanks so much, Cody Anderson, for making our show.  It is so nice to see a young man like yourself with a passion already for this hobby. .

  Mark your calendars- less than a month away.  NEW LOCATION this year- Grizzly Jacks Grand Bear Lodge, just a couple minutes off of Interstate 80, South of Utica Illnois past Starved Rock State Park. Open to the public 8am-2pm.  If you're staying the night before, mention the Decoy show and get a reduced rate which includes free admission to their indoor water park!  Hope to see you there.    

7th Annual Illinois Valley Hunting & Fishing Collectibles Show- Utica Illinois
